I believe nutrition care is both deeply personal and something you deserve support navigating. In my practice, I meet you where you are at, as we get comfy in the grey together and we work to put food back in its place so you can get back to the life you want to live.

If you:
Go back and forth between wanting things to be different and not knowing how to get there
have tried everything and are looking for something that holds up long term
Are carrying years of grief around food and your body that was never yours to carry in the first place
Are exhausted by the cycle of dieting, rules and starting over
Are done with diets - not because you’ve given up, but because you’ve finally run out of road that direction
Feel like food is hard for you - in any capacity
I work virtually with clients across Alberta, making it just as easy to connect from rural communities as it is from Edmonton, Calgary, or anywhere in between.
I'm ready to wade into all of it with you.
-
We start with a 90-minute session - where you’re at today, what you’ve tried and where you want to go, with zero pressure to have it all figures out
Ongoing support to keep moving forward at whatever pace makes sense for you
I meet you exactly where you’re at, session to session - not where a plan says you should be by now
We get comfy in the grey together, because the work is rarely a straight line
Real support along the way instead of a one-size-all plan
My goal is for you to feel seen and held along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Nutrition counselling for disordered eating is a one-on-one space to untangle your relationship with food — without judgment, without a meal plan, and without being told what to eat. We go at your pace, and we start from where you actually are.
-
Reach out through the contact form or book a free connection call. I'll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
-
No, you don't need a formal diagnosis to get support. Many people seek help for disordered eating patterns, chronic dieting, or food anxiety without ever being diagnosed. If food feels stressful or overwhelming, you're welcome here.
-
No. This practice is weight inclusive, which means weight is not the goal or the measure of progress. What we focus on is how you feel — in your body, around food, and in your life. That includes things like energy, sleep, bloodwork, and the mental space food used to take up.
-
Yes. Feeling out of control around food is one of the most common things people come to me with — and it almost always makes sense once we look at what's underneath it. This isn't a willpower problem. We'll figure out what's actually going on and work from there.
-
I hear this a lot and I understand why you're asking. Most approaches to food and eating focus on what you're doing wrong and how to fix it. That's not what I do here. I start from the assumption that you were never the problem. What hasn't worked before wasn't a failure of willpower or discipline — it was a mismatch between the approach and what you actually needed. That's what I'm here to figure out.

Every session is different because every person is different. We don't follow a script or work through a checklist. We start from where you are that day — what's come up, what's feeling hard, what you've noticed since we last spoke. Sometimes the conversation is about food. Sometimes food is just the starting point. There's no pressure to arrive with answers. Showing up is enough.
-
Not typically. You've likely had enough rules around food already, and adding more isn't usually what helps. Most of our work focuses on understanding what's underneath — why eating feels complicated and how to start trusting yourself around food again. That said, there are times when more structure is genuinely helpful, particularly when we're working on restoring nourishment for a person that has been restricting. In those cases, we'd talk through what that looks like and why, together.
-
Healing is different for everyone. Some clients notice shifts within a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. There's no right timeline — only the pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
-
Many extended health benefit plans cover registered dietitian services, and direct billing is available with some providers. Coverage varies, so I recommend checking with your plan directly. If you have questions, feel free to reach out through the contact page.
-
You don't have to be. Most people who reach out are somewhere between curious and terrified — and both are welcome here. We start from wherever you are, not from where you think you should be.
-
This is one of the most honest questions someone can ask, and it deserves an honest answer. Weight loss is not something I work toward as a goal — not because I don't hear you, but because chasing it tends to deepen the very patterns that brought you here in the first place. What I can help with is getting to the underneath of why food and your body feel so complicated. For a lot of people, when that shifts, everything else starts to shift too. If you're open to exploring what that looks like, I'd love to talk.
