What I’m Reading

If you know me or have worked with me, you know that I love reading. I almost always have a book on the go and I find this is an accessible way for me to learn more about the topics that interest me (whether it is reading a book or listening to the audiobook version, makes not difference to me).

To align with my values, I work from trauma informed and social justice lenses and this allows me to see systems of oppression as ever-present in our day to day lives. These systems deeply impact the unique food and body stories of my clients and it is because of this that I find myself often drawn to books that deepen my understanding of these topics. Come along on this journey with me to learn about food, bodies and the societal influences that impact both!
